DAVOS, SWITZERLAND – Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros said on Tuesday that the Russian invasion on Ukraine may have been the beginning of World War Three, and that the best way to preserve free civilization was for the West to defeat Russia.

On Monday, Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia must cease being dependent upon the West, and that the ‘dictator’s position’ of the West will lead economic ties with China to grow ‘even faster’.
