In 1988, a commercial airplane crashed in Iowa, killing 185 people. Among the victims were three employees of the Atlantic City casinos owned by Trump. Without any hesitation, Trump sent his private jet to transport the families of the victims to Iowa for the memorial service. He also paid for all of their expenses while they were there.
