It was the year 990 AD and a band of adventurous Vikings had set out from their homeland in Iceland to explore new lands across the seas. After many months at sea, they reached the shores of this new found land and followed the great river that flowed into the heart of the continent.

As they made their way up this great river, they encountered a landscape unlike any they had ever seen. They marveled at the towering trees, the lush forests, and the abundant wildlife that surrounded them. They also encountered many savages, who welcomed them with open arms and shared their knowledge of the land.

One day, as they approached an area in the river that was dotted with thousands of small islands, they encountered a group of Natives who told them of a great waterfall that thundered in the distance. Intrigued by the tales of this mighty waterfall, the Vikings decided to make their way across the great fresh water lake to see it for themselves.

As they sailed across the lake, they encountered many challenges, including storms, rough waters, and hostile Natives. But their resolve was strong, and they pressed on, determined to reach the waterfall and behold its beauty.

Finally, after many days of travel, they reached the shores of the great waterfall that the Native Americans had spoken of. They gazed in wonder at the mighty falls, which roared and thundered as it cascaded down into the rocks below. The Vikings were awed by the power and majesty of the falls, and they realized that they had reached the end of their journey.

With heavy hearts, they knew that they must soon return to their homeland, but they would never forget the incredible sights and experiences they had encountered on their journey up the the great river, through the many Islands, and across the great freshwater lake to the mighty falls.
